

THE TRAINING PROGRAM AT THE Vishwakarma Technical Institute is governed by the rules and regulation prescribed by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. Of India and guided by the Directorate of Labour Employment and Training, Govt of Jharkhand.
Training in Various trades as assigned are imparted by the experienced and skilled instructors recruited from major Industries and Training Institute.
The Training session for each batch of fresh trainees commence from August, Every Year.
TRADES OFFERED FOR TRAINING
Since 2012, admission to all ITI in Jharkhand is controlled by the "Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board" (JCECEB). The admission process starts in the month of April, with the sale of Guide line cum Application From. Application forms are sold from the Post Office at a fixed price. Applicants are required to appear in Joint Entrance Examination at the allotted examination centre. On the basis of merit in the examination counseling is conducted at JCECE Board's head quarter at Ranchi.
Candidates are allotted different ITI's as per their merit and choice. However ITI's are allowed to take direct admission, in case the seats remain vacant after allotment-through counseling. For admission a prospectus to be purchased and must qualify in the admission test conducted by the ITI.
Tuition Fees:
From the year (2012) annual fees for different ITI's in the state is fixed by a Special Committee formed by the Govt. As per their recommendation

Registration:
Directorate of Employment and Training, Govermment of Jharkhand, shall Register each eligible trainee (under ITI-NCVT course) at an appropriate time, during training period. The Registration form for the above purpose will be Available in appropriate time with the Institute.

The training method and course contents are being followed as per Prescribed syllabus (NCVT) provided by Directorate General of Employment and Training, Ministry of Labour, Govt of India.
Training session for all Training Institute (NCVT) under Ministry of Employment and Training, Govt. of India (may it be Govt. Institute or Private Institute) starts from August, every year. The final examination after the completion of two years training is conducted by controller of Examination, Ministry of Employment and Training, Govt of India. The centre of Examination is decided by the State Directorate of Employment & Training. Final (AITT) Examination is Generally held in the month of July every year
All trainees must strictly follow the rules and regulation of the Institute and maintain proper discipline. Anyone, who is not following Institute rule and indulge in undisciplined activity, his name will be stuck-off the rolls and will be dismissed from training and his all deposits with the Institute will be forfeited including caution money.
Transfer or interchange of Trade once allotted is not permitted and under no circumstance, fees or any other deposits paid by one trainee will be transferred in favour of another trainee.
Annual Fees for the first year along with the other charges is to be paid at the time of admission A schedule of payment of the remaining amount will be issued at that time mentioning various dates. The schedule has to be followed strictly, failing which appropriate fine and/ or re-admission charges may require to be paid.
If a trainee discontinue training with or without information, he will forfeit all his deposits, with the Institute, including caution money.
If a trainee, come across any difficulty in undergoing training or any other issue, the concern trainee may approach the Principal of the Institute, without any hesitation, for help.
8 Every trainee under lTl-NCVT course, must put in 80% of available attendance in training lf any trainee fails to put in 80% attendance will not be allowed to appear in the final examination, after the completion of 2 years training
If a trainee's guardian is below the poverty line, and the concern trainee shows above average merit in training, would be given monitory assistance from the Institute Detail of concern trainee's financial status would be judged by the Institute authority, before awarding any financial assistance.
at the time of admission, all the trainees will have to provide a Fit- Certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner, with a declaration that the trainee is fit to undergo training in ITI-NCVT course.
All the week-days (Monday to Saturday) are normal working days of the Institute with Sunday being normal holiday Institute will also observe holidays on the days as listed by Government of Jharkhand.
All trainees, in addition to usual holidays in a year, Casual Leave of 12 days per year will be admissible. Un-utilized casual leave in first year will stand lapse. In case of illness trainees are allowed Medical Leave up to 15 days in two years training period. Medical leaves must accompany medical certificate from a medical officer or registered medical practitioner
Introduction of Basic Computer Course [DGE&T-19(19)/2010-CD] As per the above notification IT Literacy Course is ITI's in introduced from session starting from August, 2011 Accordingly a syllabus for Basic Computer Course (BCC) is prepared by DOEACC and approved by DGE&T All trainees must pass the BCC during the training period itself. National trade certificate will be issued only after passing the IT Literacy Course.
